What’s On

Seven different people, from very different backgrounds, brought together every week as part of a social experiment. As Roy the groups’ leader says…”Every life is like an old teapot, it has cracks and faults in the glaze. I have to be patient with my patients. And like superglue, you’re never sure it’s worked until you take your hands away”. Over the course of six months we are taken on a journey of discovery as we watch them blossom as individuals and come together as a group. We see them laugh, cry, fight and learn. Learn to listen, learn to differ, and learn to care.

On August 5th 1962 the world awoke to the news that Marilyn Monroe, the biggest movie star of that time, had died at the age of just 36. But what really happened? And what was she like behind closed doors? Questions we’ll probably never really know the answer to. But what if we could get close? Drug addiction, depression, psychological issues, sexual exploitation... Issues as prominent today as they were over 50 years ago. This is not a biographical piece. It’s merely one day of a person’s life. Their final day. Marilyn as you’ve never seen her before.

When Bonnie and Clyde meet, their mutual cravings for excitement and fame immediately set them on a mission to chase their dreams. Their bold and reckless behaviour turns the young lovers’ exciting adventure into a downward spiral, putting themselves and their loved ones in trouble with the law. Forced to stay on the run, the lovers resort to robbery and murder to survive. As the infamous duo’s fame grows bigger, their inevitable end draws nearer. Bonnie & Clyde is a thrilling and sexy musical combining blues, gospel and rockabilly music. Get the hottest ticket in town to Sutton Coldfield’s “Most wanted” musical!
