A chilling tale with a dark twist
Veronicas Room is an absorbing spiders web, entwining fantasy and reality. Susan and Larry, a young couple, are enticed to visit the Brabissant Mansion by the Mackeys, who are struck by Susan's strong resemblance to Veronica Brabissant, the long dead daughter of the family for whom they work. They induce Susan to impersonate Veronica to comfort the only surviving Brabissant family member, her addled sister, who is still living in the past, but Susan finds herself locked in the role....
